Vivo Pad Air Review: Powered by a Snapdragon 870 CPU, boasting a 2.8K 144Hz display, and featuring rapid 44W charging.

Vivo Pad Air

Vivo’s commitment to delivering larger-screen experiences for work, education, and entertainment persists with their latest tablet offerings. Presenting a device that exhibits a notable resemblance to its predecessor, the original vivo Pad, yet with a lighter touch — the Vivo Pad Air.

Much akin to the inaugural vivo Pad, the Pad Air sports an 11.5-inch screen, a sub-flagship Snapdragon 870 processor, and expedient 44W fast charging. However, intriguingly, the Air carries a slight increase in weight compared to its forerunner, tipping the scales at 530g as opposed to the initial Pad’s 489g.

On a brighter note, the display of the Pad Air elevates the experience with a heightened 144Hz refresh rate, a crisper 2.8K resolution, vibrant 10-bit color reproduction, and an elongated 3:2 aspect ratio ideal for multitasking endeavors. Additionally, the inclusion of a quad-speaker configuration promises immersive stereo separation for audio.

Sustaining the device is an ample 8,500mAh battery, complemented by a 44W charger. Shipping with the latest Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0 interface, the tablet is optimized for seamless performance. The Vivo Pad Air also embraces compatibility with the vivo Pencil 2 stylus and a dedicated keyboard case.

Positioned at the pinnacle of the display, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera captures selfies, while at the rear, a substantial circular glass module houses the solitary 8-megapixel rear camera.

Anticipate dual-band WiFi, advanced Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, USB-C 3.0 with OTG support, and NFC integration to cater to modern connectivity needs.

The Vivo Pad Air comes with varying configurations: starting at Php13,900 for the 8GB/128GB model, Php15,500 for the 8GB/256GB variant, Php17,800 for the 12GB/256GB edition, and Php20,200 for the top-tier 12GB/512GB version. Notably, there’s no confirmation yet regarding the availability of vivo’s tablet lineup in the Philippines.
